“Lyrical subjects of life, expressed by a pretty poetry and multiplied by the talent of the performer, fill the nostalgic spectators with emotions. Philippe speaks with his audience in Russian and in an almost intimate way. no need for a presenter! Philippe presents all his songs, says sincere things, tells the story of their birth. We have the impression that he lives in all the centuries at the same time: he admires the ladies in crinoline accompanied by riders wearing a top hat and suddenly he transports his audience to the post-war Soviet era and we hear a Russian waltz "Autumn's Dream", interpreted with French finesse. "

"There are no insignificant details in the artist. The unique intonations of Darées' voice, her warm and intimate style are recognizable from the first notes of the songs. This is why for several years her success has continued. . When the artist has been loved for years that means that apart from his great talent, and he has a rare gift of going with his time, and being contemporary. In his interpretation there are no secondary things: every detail, every musical nuance creates this unique image that we call “artistic personality.” Poet and composer, romantic and philosopher, Philippe sings his songs with soul and thanks to this sincerity, he creates a frank contact with his audience . "Philippe Darées and his musicians immerse us in the irresistible charm of French song. Whatever it does not address as a subject: love, a bike ride, the sky of Paris and the banks of the Seine ... he interprets them in a personal and warm way and touches us deeply. The lyrics of the songs are surrounded by the lace of the gypsy jazz arrangement. The guitars of Georg Yachagachvili and Darées himself sound like cicadas on a summer night, Guillaume Singer's violin sings to the gypsy while crying at the same time. Other instruments complement them harmoniously and this ensemble creates musical magic. The room vibrates, sings with Philippe or weeps in love with emotions. The artists on stage continue to perform to create magical paintings, which reflect so well the Russian dream of this wonderful France and of Paris, the eternal city of lovers. "

"Paris is the city of lovers! He sings with such romanticism that he manages to envelop the audience in the Parisian atmosphere! Each song is a theatrical scene."

Literaturnaya Gazeta

"On October 28, Moscow attended a real musical festival! Concert at the Maison Internationale de la Musique by a great French singer: Philippe Darées. Darées is a true disciple of the masters of French song. He interprets the great standards with sensitivity. by Charles Aznavour, Yves Montand, Serge Gainsbourg ... As well as his own songs, composed in this style. Several songs from Darées are arranged in the gypsy jazz style. The accordion transports us to the banks of the Seine (Jacques Ferchit), the violin, virtuoso, weeps and laughs at the same time (Guillaume Singer), the sound of brooms on the bronze cymbals supports the rhythm with lightness while the bass drum sounds like the beating heart! (Alexis Darées).

In addition to this, you need to know more about it.

One of the best gypsy guitarist of Moscow Georg Yachagachvili accompanies the French musicians, as well as the double bassist Vladimir Koltsov-Kroutov who adds the swing spirit to the group. Philippe Darées' concert delighted the Russian public for its great quality. The lyrical melodies warmed the audience and plunged the listeners into the wonderful atmosphere of Paris. This concert in Moscow was a presentation of Philippe Darées' new record "From the Atlantic to the Urals" released last summer. Several compositions are dedicated to Russia. The very title of the disc testifies that this album is a declaration of love to the great Nordic countries, which always warmly welcomes its author. "
